Viral Marketing
Viral Marketing is an excellent way to promote your newsletter and events by providing an option for recipients to forward your email to others outside your subscriber base. Even better, by using the "Send to a Friend" feature, Informz will also track the email addresses and you will be able to view the results in your mailing reports. If you do not have this feature already embedded in your emails and would like to, please contact your eMarketing Advisor to assist you in setting this up.
Please note that if you decide to take advantage ofthe embedded "Send to a Friend" feature, we have discovered that the form box used to enter the email address in will not render in Microsoft's Outlook 2007 and with some Internet Email Service Providers such as AOL, Yahoo and GoogleMail (GMail).The best way to get around this possible formatting error is to create a Send a Friend link that will point to a separate internet browser and there the recipient will be able to enter an email address and a small message.
